Exchange to Finland approved!

I initiated a student exchange program to europe with my university and it was approved. I am so excited that I am finally leaving this country and stay overseas for awhile. I always wanted the opportunity to stay abroad to develop my independence and not rely on my family for too much. It is always good to put yourself in the deep end because this is the only way to learn survival skills, especially in this fast paced society.

I will be attending the Helsinki University of Technology for the winter period. Ohh, winter in Scandinavia must be cool....literally too cool. I will be leaving in September and returning in January next year. Not long, just 4 months, but I believe it is enough to change my perspective of the world and most importantly develop my survival skills.
Besides studying I intend to go backpack alone and explore europe by myself. Budget airlines are really cheap now, best for poor students like myself. I look forward to this eye opening experience and make the most out of it. From now till then it will involve alot of paperwork preparation but it will be all worth it once I touch down there.
